I don&#039;t think the card companies grade some cards tougher than others, but some cards (such as black-bordered ones) show wear more easily, so they&#039;re tougher to find in high grades.

I think the accuracy of the grading of the big three companies is about the same.  I usually use PSA because cards graded by PSA tend to sell for a little more, probably because their set registry is popular.  You have to buy a membership to submit to them, though.  SGC doesn&#039;t require a membership, and I have been pleased with their speed and customer service.  BVG has the nicest, most secure holder, in my opinion.  It depends on what you&#039;re looking for.</description>
